Activision today announced further details surrounding Call of Duty®: Ghosts’ participation in Sony’s PS3 to PS4 upgrade programmes.

The upgrade programme is completely optional and allows consumers who purchase Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation ® 3 to upgrade to the PlayStation ® 4 version of the game for a limited time at a suggested retail price of only £10. More details will be shared in the weeks to come.

"Today we’re announcing that anyone who buys Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS3 will be able to upgrade to Call of Duty: Ghosts for the PS4 for a limited time at a suggested retail price of just 10 dollars, 10 euros or 10 pounds," said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, Inc. "

We have also previously announced that for a limited time our players will bring all of their Season Pass Content and all of their in-game progress with them within a console family, for no additional charge.

So does that mean thats set the price for the PS3 to PS4 upgrade, I think it has, Many other companies will follow on that I'm sure of it! I'm happy with that any more then id be considering waiting.

The PS4 releases only 10 days after CO Ghosts comes out. If you really can't wait 10 days to play another COD game...well, then you're pathetic.

However, if you're not planning on getting the PS4 until later in the year, then I guess I could understand the reasoning behind that.

bit longer then that for the majority of the world, so a couple of weeks for europe, yeah thats alright why wait if you can afford it do it

True, for the rest of the world yes I guess you have more of a legitimate reason. And I agree, if you have the money to waste then go for it. But I, for one, am not going to waste an extra $10 when I can just wait 10 days. :p

some people certain games are their life, they will no life the shit out of that certain game until the next gen one is out and then carry on, theyre lucky they can upgrade or no doubt they would just purchase twice xD

So you need to buy the digital version.. But what about the "limited time'" with the Season Pass.. Does this mean u need to convert it within a certain time? Or does it only work for a certain time...

noy you get the digital version either way i think. season pass will convert over at the same time too more then likely

I'd prefer to have the CD.. Hate to download everything and then when you format u're PS4 sometime u have to re-install it again, then the updates ect.. I hope their's a way to get the CD for 10$ more
