Just make sure that if you are going to have it standing(vertical), you get a stand for it.
Simply because the vents on the sides get blocked if you stand it.

Personally, i will have mine flat, horizontal, as i think looks better.

Just personal preference really.

Ive seen a couple of vids on YT saying it overheats on its side. Laying flat for me it looks better, feel sory for XBOXONE users they will need a separate room for their console its MAHUSIVE.

its made for either, it may heat up more than vertical but it won't overheat.
