(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); As most of you know, the PS4 has the lovely feature of "standby mode" now so that it is essentially powered off but uses just enough so that it can charger your controller, download updates, etc.

I'm just curious how many of you just put it in standby and how many of you shut it down completely?

I personally have been putting it in standby as it's more convenient but if I know I'm going to be away for several days I will probably shut it down.

ill just click turn off and leave it like that, i never turn anything off by the plug.

I shut mine down every time unless I am downloading something big (i.e. A game).

Shutdown will be for me. I use the PC to charge the controllers as I have it always on until I go back to sleep.

i like the standby feature ,
but being we are still in the "be careful and dont let overheat" stage,

i have been use the full shutdown.
