I think I must be so unlucky.

Been waiting months for my PS4 and it finally arrives this morning from ShopTo.

Set it all up, power on and bam flashing blue light.

Updated my tv firmware and still no joys.

Used the PS3 power adaptor and went through all the different HDMI's and ports. Nothing.

Did all the checks Sony advise and still nothing just that pulsating blue light.

Called ShopTo and they said they can collect it Monday and have a new one to me Thursday.

This has since changed to collection today and replacement Tuesday.

Not great but I have to accept it.

When calling Sony go through all the relevant options and the line rings for 5 mins and then goes dead.

Not impressed.

Has this happened to anyone else in the UK or EU?

I hoped that after this issue in US that it would have been resolved.

was looking forward to play but not to be, cant call them because they are closed until monday. tried to call sony but they very busy and cant get the answer. For now im stuck

Luckily the only problem I had was server issues but now there sorted and it's running smoothly. Sorry to those who's console is dodgy

Sorry to hear mate. Hopefully they can get them replaced asap but still leaves us without over the weekend

Mate contact Sony and they will replace asap. Im getting mine Thursday. The earliest was Wednesday but im not in to sign for it. They will do a straight swap on the door.

ShopTo lied about getting mine collected. They never tured up! I will be raising a complaint with them

just read that message....yeah i have called sony earlier, was impossible to get thru to them this morning. finally got answer around midday!!! yeah i will get the replacement on wed which is great, better than nothing lol.

dont know why shopto is closed today, no point to wait until monday for replacement...

lets hope we get the console working again...
