But You must login or register to view this content. did just that when they spoke to John Koller, asking the SCEA VP of Marketing for Consoles and Handhelds on Sony’s thoughts about Battlefield 4′s very shaky online performance:

Let me answer this higher above Battlefield 4 because it’s not fair, I think, to focus just on that. But in general, when these kinds of situations occur we work very closely with the publisher.
I’m not saying that’s happening specifically with Battlefield, but in general when there’s network issues or any issues related to gameplay we work very closely, because it reflects on the platform as well. We want it solved just like the publisher wants it solved, so we generally work together.

It’s interesting hear that Sony is helping out EA, as well as other companies whose games have multiplayer issues, and hopefully it results in a full fix soon (maybe when the You must login or register to view this content.?).

DICE has a horrendous track record when it comes to game launches, EA has always rushed them. Had EA not rushed them to get it out before the next-gen console release, we would be waiting til March or April, and I'd be fine with that. Its not DICE or Sony that's the problem, it's EA.

No surprise there then. I hate EA!!! Fifa 14 and the Fifa series in general are all about how they can make loads of money with a crappy game.

Dude you're talking about every major game company out there EA included. CoD - Microtransactions (personalization packs), season pass, hardened/prestige editions etc.. Forza - Microtransactions NUFF said. AngryBirds go - an ingame car that costs $40 to unlock...

I could go on and on with all the games and companies that are using microtransactions as their business model, for you to single out EA as the worst of the bunch I strongly disagree almost all game companies have embraced this and its going to become a way of gaming life. I for one like the idea of unlock packs, I dont have 100s of hours to put into battlefield to unlock vehicle upgrades and weapon unlocks. I personally spent little over $200 on vehicle unlock kit, class unlock kit and BF premium, not everyone has the time to sit and play games all day allot of people like to get on and play an hour or 2 and get off. It's hard to play a game you have to invest allot of time in to progress, so an unlock option for stuff is nice for some. It's not being forced on you, usually shortcut microtransactions are still able to be obtained it just takes longer.

I single out EA because the packs they give me are atrocious lol. I've spent over 300 pounds on Fifa 14 already in hope of getting a decent team and some good players out of my packs. Instead I get handed the biggest pile of crap ever in return whilst the scam artist are out there making loads of coins and cash and all that EA do is refund the victim. They should be banning the person involved and taking further action, after all the scam artist can make a TON of cash from coin sales.

Also the customer support they offer is rather dreadful as well.

I must add also that there is no other way to obtain packs you must spend your own money. It's not as simple as doing a challenge to unlock them over a longer time frame.

The good things far outweigh the bad stuff, it seems there's only bad news about this or the bad news has the most people feeding into it.

I can play the game flawless I have been able to since a week or two after release.
