I mean the share button sucks in my opinion because I can't upload directly to YouTube and sometimes it bugs out and records the wrong clips.

So with that being said if you do not know what I am even talking about it is simply not being able to use your HDPVR 2, Elgato or any other High definition capture device for that matter.

I really want it patched so that we can but only time will tell as Sony haven't really said very much about it and for the time being I have a 130 pound PVR lying doing absolutely nothing!

I just don't get why Sony has this HDCP piece of crap. There are ways to bypass it and pirate movies and it's not just the PS4 that get movies pirated, it's everywhere. If they don't enable it by the time it's summer time, I'm just going to buy a hdcp bypass device lol

Thinking about buying one because I really could use it. Then again why should I need to pay extra because Sony won't pull their finger out.

a splitter wont degrade your quality that much you wont physically be able to tell the difference cause after video compression there wont be any then youtube also lowers your videos bitrate so the quality loss is there not from a splitter thats completly digital now if it was converting from analog to digital you would get some loss
