I mean the share button sucks in my opinion because I can't upload directly to YouTube and sometimes it bugs out and records the wrong clips.

So with that being said if you do not know what I am even talking about it is simply not being able to use your HDPVR 2, Elgato or any other High definition capture device for that matter.

I really want it patched so that we can but only time will tell as Sony haven't really said very much about it and for the time being I have a 130 pound PVR lying doing absolutely nothing!

Movies
Music
Rooted in the old ways of the ways.

I hope Sony hurries up and patch this.

I don't know why you guys are tripping when you can just get past this issue easily.

People pirate movies and content all the time, they should be worried less about game footage (Which, if released will bring publicity for the developers) and be more worried about everything else, like ripping off dedicated gamer's having to repurchase games for no apparent reason.

You'd better purchase one of these "Devices" before they get blacklisted or something.

There's no real quality loss, and if someone out there is using an Elgato and is recording at a high enough quality, it won't even be remotely visible. Would you rather have footage? Or no footage at all?

The things cost barely $20, and they can come in handy for other things, not a waste of money at all.

Didn't the PS3 have this issue? It's nothing really new so I don't see why everyone is complaining now haha. I've always just used an HDCP bypass and everything works just fine...even on the PS4.

Simultaneous monitor capture, if you don't like looking at what's on your screen in one direction, or you have another monitor wherever you are, you can hook up the video to be somewhere else, that is optional but can come in handy, it may improve comfort depending on your setup. I thought one of those things was obvious. Think about it, you can hook up your video anywhere, with just an HDMI cable, you're telling me you don't have a use for this at all?

Other people might find this setup useful, since you can record whats on your PS3-PS4 as well.
