Post: Which Monitor To Buy For My PS4?
11-30-2014, 09:23 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been told by my friend that console gaming is much better on good monitors.

I'm looking at a 144hz 1080p 3D Monitor to buy. How would the PS4 do on that kind of monitor?

Edit: So I've learned PS4 still only runs at 60fps , even 30fps on some games.. so what kind of monitor should I get? Still looking for a low response time also though.

anything faster then a average tv is going to be fine ,dont pick up a 3d monitor unless you really like gaming in 3d or plan on using it for movies and at that point its still kinda pointless unless you own a ultrawide monitor that is 3d then you get the whole package meaning no cropping of the movie and in 3d. just buy a nice 1080p monitor that has good reviews come up with your own opinion but if you can deal with it try looking into some type of ips panel there are several variants of ips some are cheaper others are not personally i like better looking image over a faster response have a very good 1080p asus ips monitor that runs at 74hrz great for pc games good for console since they are framelocked and i have to overclock the monitor to run at 74hrs

Not really lol. Just know they make good displays so thought I'd like their page.
Would be worth it if you also use it for PC gaming.

I plan on building a pc within the next year hopefully. Could go ahead and buy a good monitor go get out of the way. Could you recommend me a monitor for PS4 though? 1080p, good refresh rate etc.

If you're planning on getting a gaming PC, why don't you get the one I linked as you could use it for both PS4 and PC.
