Yeah I agree they should do things for free, like gamer pictures and themes. The only reason I can think of for them charging for pictures and themes is to make money. With the red ring 'crisis' they would have been billions of dollars loss rather than profit. So by charging for things on live they make some money so they don't loose too much money, although they did know about the red ring before release and yet failed to do anything about it because they tried to get the console out before the PS3.

i recon someone has cracked it. surely if a clever person got enough codes they could crack the algorithm. if i made a gen, i certainly wouldnt publicly release it!
