I had problems getting mine setup but now I have got it working I will go through this tutorial that shall hopefully help you out.

Requirements
- Kmeaw's Custom Firmware
- GTA IV Retail
- multiman Backup Manager

Steps

1. Install Kmeaw's firmware onto your PS3

2. Install the Multiman Manager

3. Backup your GTA IV inside multiman Manager, make sure you have at least 15GB of Disk Space

4. Once completed open Blackb0x ftp Server

5. Open Filezilla and go to dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/

6. There should be a folder in there, open that then PS3_HOME

7. Then USERID

8. Now copy the mods (common.rpf) into that folder, it should overwrite.

9. Restart your PS3 and start MultiMan Manager

10. Press L2 and go down to GTA IV

11. Press X and it should start successfully.

NOTE : DONT UPDATE IT AND WHEN U PRESS LOAD ON MULTIMAN DONT USE AUTO LAUNCH AND BEFORE START GAME GO TO NETWORK SETTINGS AND THEN DISABLE NETWORK CONNECTIONS FOR THEM TO WORK!

on the USA version (ripped from my own retail disc in multiman) if i replace the common.rpf it will loop the into/loading screen and the indicator light on both the ps3 and usb will stop indicating its just stuck there and so i let it be for about 15 min and come back still there so i look at PS3ISO the source of these mods and it says its for the BLES version of the game have to pirate to get this on a US system using the UK version because i sure as hell aint buying another version LOL

delete GTA IV Game Data Utility then play

the thing is most of these "mods" are just annoying working on using pc mods have had no success if anyone has let me know

Ok, so i have a 3.41 ps3 JailBreak. Could it be possible to file transfer the GTA4 backup into my 3.41 ps3 with broken blu-ray. I run the backup on 3.41 ps3 and I isntall the mods,..etc.

Would it be possible to play it on my 3.56 ps3?
