It will be the eighth installment in the Call of Duty series.

Due to a legal dispute between the game's publisher Activision and the former co-executives of Infinity Ward - which caused several lay-offs and departures within the company - Sledgehammer Games will assist in the development of the singleplayer, and Raven Software will develop the multiplayer.

The game is said to have been in development since only two weeks after the release of the previous game, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Sledgehammer is aiming for a "bug free" first outing in the Call of Duty franchise, which also sets a goal for Metacritic review scores above 95 percent.

Call of Duty every year...blah...blah...blah, we all know its not going to be amazing, These COD games are mostly played by little rat kids. And COD is so boring, same shit, little difference every year.

I just hope Modern Warfare 3 isnt like Black Ops where everybody was looking forward to Black Ops and then when the game was released people were like "Ahh this game sucks" :derp:

this is prolly the first time i wont buy a Call Of Duty game... i have switced to more pc computer games and xbox.. battlefield 3 may just be the way to go this year.

People could just buy both?
