I moved from Sky broadband to Virgin broadband last week and I've noticed that XBL connections are really bad, XBL disconnects me a lot of times through the day and online games are unplayable.

I have Virgin 30meg and the Superhub router. My PS3 and laptops work fine but just not Xbox Live.

I get lagged out of every MW2 and Black Ops game where as I have 4 bars on PS3 95% of the time.

Anyone else experience this?

My XBOX and PS3 are connected with Ethernet Cable and laptop is WiFi, my XBOX seems to do it on call of duty only cause i also play dirt 2 and apparently is was lagging bad on that, mine is so bad i get disconected out of zombies on like round 3, but other day me and my mate got to round 16 then it went bad and i disconected

Im with VM and mine is fine

Have you tried reseting your Virgin router?


Do you have a Virgin Superhub(10,30 or 50meg) and are you connected over Wifi?

Too Many times mate, still disconnects and lags, could be doing maintance in my area, doing the 100mb installs maybe

i used to have virgin and i was wired with 15meg , and i had no problem, but now i have sky 4meg wire and i cant play live after 6.30 , because its cable and i get a download speed of 0.5meg (ive had p.11 before lol) . but i would say that virgin is better than sky :y:
