(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, so I'd find it hard to believe that the majority of you weren't completely disappointed by this year's E3 like myself, for multiple reasons.

First and foremost, there were no real shocks. Everything was already leaked a few days earlier and even then things like Halo 4 were hardly surprising given Microsoft's lust for money. Then were was Sony, who really were as dull as dull can be. Then Nintendo managed to bore us even after announcing a new console- how? They paraded around the stage with a f*cking stupid controller, and they just talked about it the whole time. Gameplay was at a minimum, and even then they used gameplay from the PS3, 360 or PC. And OMG the name, Wii U? Really? A 6YO with a crayon could have done better!

I'm going to try now to remain calm, because surely Microsoft aren't going to give us a 90-minute Kinect commercial for the second(third?) year running..? WRONG!

Now, here's what really frustrated me about MS' E3 conference. They are trying to sell a product that will not appeal to the hardcore gamer, and they should know that, so why the f*ck are they advertising it like this at E3 which is watched primarily if not entirely by hardcore/core gamers? They should be advertising the fad-of-a-peripheral on TV in ads and on shows like Loose Women and other shows of the like, where they can capture the audience of parents who need a Christmas present for their kid, not hardcore gamers at E3. Maybe parents will enjoy watching 2 kids pretend to go to Disneyland and have a great time, but we will not. And maybe had MS STFU about the Kinect just for 5 minutes this year their conference wouldn't have been such a huge failure, but alas they failed to do so and the conference was a failure, an overwhelming one.

At the end of the day the best conferences were undoubtedly by EA & Ubisoft, which is funny considering Ubisoft only have 1(2?) good IP(s) and EA blatantly lied at the start of their conference as they took a jab at Microsoft for parading celebrities around the stage.

My anger at this year's E3 knows no bounds and I could have gone on for a lot longer(MW3 would have been next :smh, but I don't want too many tl;dr replies lol :p

Wii & 2011 Microsoft E3 Conference... I can honestly say these deserve a Jesus facepalm...

Keep those TV advertisements and **** off with advertising at E3. I'd say 90% of people there, are hardcore gamers. Otherwise, what would be the point in being there.

In all fairness, Sony were hardly great either. They could have done with a surprise or two.

Oh and why do companies have such a tough time coming up w/ good console/peripheral names? Wii, Kinect, Vita, Wii U etc etc etc, they're all horrendous

Indeed! The thing with Wii though is I bought it maybe 2 years ago & I've only used it like twice, & not just me, my WHOLE family, such a waste, it's not even a gaming console.

Exactly, Nintendo are the king of fads, that's exactly why they developed the DS originally then eventually moulded it into a 3DS. Also why they made the Wii how it is and now the Wii U. Absolute joke.

Wait, how are you working that one out? Halo has nothing to do with Activision. That was quite surprising to me, so whether you read about Halo 4 somewhere else, I don't know. I knew about Halo CE remake. I find it disappointing that bungie made a Halo Trilogy, then make ODST and REACH. Now, 343i Have announced another Halo Trilogy.

Indeed! I think the DS/3DS is a total joke, I mean Pokemon is a Gameboy franchise, I absolutely hate spinning the stylus around a Pokmeon to catch it, such a dumb concept that makes you look like an utter retard in public.

It just goes to show how much a company is willing to put profits ahead of long-term fans, even if the fans would give them more than enough revenue alone. Real shame, considering it's exactly why MS & Sony have made motion-peripherals and forced them down our necks for the last few years.
