( i think it is since i took tht 1 out and no red rings came out ) . So what do i do now ? buy a new AV cable or do i take it apart and do summit with the chip or send it to microsoft :O ???

Send it to microsoft. Or you could burn it or beat it with a hammer. Your choice

i already do hav a PS3 xD but all my mates plays on the xbox 360 so xD

I'd send it to microsoft!
if its within the warrenty(or watever) they will do it for free,ifd not it will cost about £50

When did you get the Xbox?
Do you still have a receipt?
If you still have the receipt you get an extra two years warrenty. I think the warrenty is usually one year.
But even if you have had it less than a year you need the receipt or they wont accept and you'll have to pay.

a manager from game near me said that microsoft are refunding every who had to pay and they are scrapping the payment thing

actually, 3 red rings is hardware failure. I'd recomend u buy a new cable first to see if that was the problem instead of instantly wasting £50.
But if you have the warranty still, i'd send it away anyway because if microsoft cant fix it you will just get a brand new 360.
