To start its not cheating because its allowed, cheating is something which is AGAINST THE RULES which modded controllers arent, therefore its not cheating. The only way you can break the rules is by modding the controller yourself because your modifying the equipment, but this wont get you banned it will most likely just void your warranty like it does with the xbox..
