According to a new report Microsoft is preparing a special version of its Internet Explorer web browser for Xbox 360. The Verge reports that the platform holder will bring full web browsing support to the console with a custom version of IE or so they were told by inside sources at Microsoft.

The browser is reportedly also said to be 'tuned' especially for Kinect, and although it'll also work with just a controller, it will offer voice control and hands-free operation to those with the all-seeing camera bar. All I can say is FINALLY, we have been waiting a long time on xbox for a browser and I am ready to see how it performs, any thoughts?

Problem rule #16?
Part of me is thrilled that the Xbox FINALY is getting a browser yet part of me is cringing at the fact that its IE... I have a laptop close by whenever I play XBox anyway so it wont effect me. Cant wait to see videos of people attempting to use a on screen keyboard with the kinect. Hope people post videos.
