Right now, I have someone who could sell me a used xbox 360 with the falcon chip, manufactured in 2008, with a 20gb HD, HDMI connections, a controller, and all other necessary cords, all for $100. This console isn't banned from xbox live.
I could also get a brand new Jasper xbox arcade for about $160.
Would $60 more be worth the difference in the price for a slimmer chance of getting the RRoD? Even if I kept the falcon out in the open?
Does anyone know the difference between the fail rates of the two chips, or have any advice on which one to get? Thanks

95% compared to ps3, not compared to another xbox is what i meant.
and yes i'm a ps3 fan over xbox i played the 360 for awhile and there is nothing great about it u have to pay to play online and u have to pay for the system and u need the extended warranty due to the red eye constantly and it takes forever to get ur new one usually.

You do not need to buy the extended warranty.

Okay, Well this is my opinion. I have an XBOX and a PS3 and I loveeee the XBOX. I just don't like PS3. Also if anyone is looking to sell a working XBOX with out a hard drive, controllers, games. All I need is a working console for cheap. PM me if you have one.
