Most of the time, new updates mean new items for Fortnite: Battle Royale, and that's exactly what we'll be seeing later this week.

Fortnite: Battle Royale Update Adds New Healing Item Later This Week

The constant push for Fortnite: Battle Royale content continues from Epic Games as it was recently announced that the company would be releasing a new update later this week for the top-rated shooter.

The new update is scheduled to bring along a clutch auto-run feature which is activated on console by double-clicking the left stick and PC with "=" and "NumLock". This will certainly be a must for the long runs from the Lodge or Flush Factory to the opposite side of the map.

More importantly, a new healing item is also being released titled the "Chug Jug". This mega-item takes 15 seconds to slurp down and fully heals a player to 100 health and 100 shield, joining "Slurp Juice" as the only other double-potion hitting health and shield. Epic Games has billed it as follows: "Low HP? No Shields? Enemies all around? Give yourself a fighting chance with the all-new Chug Jug! Find a safe place to Chug this Jug for 15 seconds and gain max Health + Shields.", so it would seem that it refills both no matter how low on health a player may be.

Updates continue to roll in, and this update, 2.3.0 is scheduled for the early hours of January 25th. The rest of the patch notes can be found on Epic Games' official website.

It would be cool if they would make a smaller map into this call of duty type of map, and we could be able to play domination. Don't you think? Pick only common loadouts.
