I can't take it anymore!

1. To get free games and apps
   
2. To use my iDevice to its' fullest
   

Hope you answered this as honest as possible, I my self jailbreaked the first time in December, back then I did it for these two reasons, which is wrong, you should do it for one reason, reason number two. The jailbreak community is going down, the community is fild with people who are only after piracy, discusting in my opinion. I uninstalled Installous in February since I realiced that this was cruel to the developers of the apps and the community over all.
So what did you answer?

Maybe you say this "Im poor, I don't afford apps"

1 Why do you have an iDevice which is expensive?
2 Most apps cost 1 dollar, it's nothing! Those who develop the apps are like you and me, they go to school/work all day, but on their spair time they sit down and code, to make their own app, maybe make some money on the side, don't be a jerk and download it for free, pay for it!

The dev-teams and the other people involved with jailbreaking iDevices are not interested in piracy, all they want is an more open system that lets them mod it the way they want, they wont make more jailbreaks if all it does is give you the ability to download free games.

Nice rant. But its not going to stop people. Alot of people are filled with greed. They dont give a **** if its screwing the creators over. They want what they can get for free :/

That's exactly what is going to kill the jailbreak. It really sucks, I love jailbreaking for cooler themes, but if jailbreaking dies, we will all be the same!

Well to tell u the truth in due time all of the big jailbreak developers will move on.. And hopefully to good successful jobs.. Just as Geohot and Planetbeing did.. That's why others in the community must rise to the occasion.. Most people see jailbreaking and pirating as the same thing due to the fact that many people encourage piracy on a jailbroken device.. Now if we could get people to stop associating jail breaking with piracy (the main point of having.. "MyGreatFest") more people would come to the iDevice scene.. As comex did.. Comex originally got his start in jail breaking a Wii if I remember correctly.. Then he came over to the iDevice scene after Geohot released the first unlock.. And if i0n1c is correct that the community will destroy itself due to piracy.. Then someone will have to step up and release an anti-piracy jailbreak..(which is close to impossible after seeing what happened with Geohotz ps3 anti-piracy jailbreak). Also younger members of the community like ih8snow should be mentored by the big jailbreak developers such as p0sixninja, muscle nerd, and comex.. Don't be surprised if this is comexs last jailbreak either due to all the BS he had to put up with over the last month or 2..

Why should we give our money to the greedy companies? Have you not noticed we are in a recession? I'll take anything i can get for free, sorry but it's true.

Well, u might cant stop it. Every kid on the Internet, look for a Jailbreak and than they find out Installous, OMGOSH PAID PASS FOR FREE!!, and than they going to tell it in their school... anyways, i got Zero Apps on my iPad, only Cydia Tweaks.

Steel the iDevice then, not the apps, most of the apps are made by regular people, which I wrote in the thread. You're probably not a rebel, most likely a leacher who just grabbs without giving.
