Post: iPod touch 2nd Gen - White Screen
08-05-2011, 05:37 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so my iPod was fine one night, left it for a couple of hours and then went to use it. I pushed the home button but nothing would appear on screen - a black screen if you like. After fiddling about with it I realised that the battery WASN'T dead as it was still making sounds i.e locking unlocking. A couple of days later, I pushed the home button once again and this time it was a white screen. Yeah, does anyone know how to fix this?

Do a barrel roll!
Do this put it into DFU mode with iReb and upgrade the firmware.

If Im not wrong tiny umbrella just works when you downgrading or you want to get out of DFU mode, but He said he got a white screen, maybe it´s the hardware
