After 1.08
From what I have learned you do the glitch the same as before but as soon as you get in the lobby go to player channel.
(If you freeze that is how they tried to patch it. You have to go to player channel faster.)
1. Get friend to load random game in custom game.(He Stays in the lobby)
2. Hover over public match.
3. Hit Triangle and Square to join his session
4. Spam X.
5. Your friend leaves as soon as you join.
6. Should be in a custom game and say waiting for more players.
7. Invite people and have fun :>
Confirmed by me.
For your friends to be able to stay BOTH people must have the same game mode loaded
(person in custom games and the person doing the glitch must load the same game)
If your getting kicked every time I think it is because of connection speed.
Try and get a friend with good connection to do it.
Also the person/people who are going to join must join your friend who in custom game and then back out and wait for you to invite them.
That will fix them for getting kicked.

ive done this glitch many times with my brother, he lives in CT and im in GA. But he came down to visit and when we try the glitch now it just kicks the host out everytime. i tried going back to zombies and everything still same results. is it because of my connection speed since we are on the same network? and not 1000 miles away? lol thanks for the help

Hey !
after the glitch u will be in the lobby
u set "unlimited time and unlimited score" and the bots
your friend and everybody who want to join, have to go in custom game and set the same " unlimited time and unlimited score" same map and same gamemode
then he can join you

Thanks it worked but my friend is on the other team and he can't switch teams. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

The Game will automaticly split you to 2 Teams
you can try to turn the 2nd controler on (or maybe 2 2nd controler's) and switch the team in the custom game then do the glitch
thats what i have done with my friend, and the most of the time i was in the same team with him
