For those of you who are interested in disabling cheat protection for 1.13, here's how to do it. It will only work on jailbroken PS3s.
If you are using RTE, just patch these addresses while in MP:
0x4C8EC4 - 60 00 00 00
0x4C8ED0 - 60 00 00 00
0x4C8ED4 - 3B 20 00 00
And if you are modding the .elf in a hex editor, patch these addresses:
0x4B8EC4 - 60 00 00 00
0x4B8ED0 - 60 00 00 00
0x4B8ED4 - 3B 20 00 00
This will disable cheat protection, write protection, and read-only protection. You can change any dvar in the game.
Here are some EBOOT.BIN's with the patches applied to them by SC58:

so i can edit the .elf and then data transver and then i can do what ever i want on my ofw?

I've tried this and it work's like a charm. Only problem that I seen was that online you have to be host for most of the dvars to work. You can test them out in private just to see but like I said everything works great. Props to Choco.

can someone tell me quick and short how to use this? I'm new to the jailbreak community i just downgraded my first ps3 and have somewhat knowledge of the scene. Do i have to have black ops on HDD to use this or can i use FTP or comgenies or another tool?
