Call of duty has basically become a kill whore game. FACT.

So how many of you actually play for the objective?

Here's a few examples...

1. You actually pick up tags in Kill confirmed! The amount of people who run away from tags is ridiculous! If you get 30 kills you should be getting at least 20-25 confirms. If you see a tag, you go pick it up!

2. Domination you actually go for the B flag. Time and time again you see people sitting away from the flag aiming at it, but never capturing it. They will run through it, but not stop.

People would rather take a loss than affect their k/d.

If you helped your team capture that donination flag you could have won the game, however you sat in a corner, or in a window somewhere so you didn't get below a 3k/d.

So how many of you actually play for the objective?

I always play Obj that's why my wl on mw3 was 32 and on here it's only 5.60 ATM kicked so many times

I prefer playing Objective. I don't really care about keeping my k/d high just as long as im leveling up!

Haha. This thread reminded me of my first league game. It was Hardpoint, and I never played Hardpoint before, so it was interesting. Anyways, My team was 0-90 because the bottom two on my team were 0-14, and 0-11, and I was just kill whoring. Anyways, I'm like, fuck dis, time to cap that. Long story short, we won 220 - 102. My score was 6280, and the next highest on both enemy team and friendly team was like 3000.

Shows how much I play this objective, but I also maintain a 2+ K/D minimum always.

Solo KC player here, Im like the only one on my team who goes for the tags :fa:

Publics i just go for kills as the people i play with prefer to be objective this is just the way we have set up.

However when playing competitively it depends what role i take

I used to care about K/D, but I have since realized it is much more enjoyable to win a game than spend the whole time camping. Also, by ignoring K/D and playing the objective, I have found I am enjoying Black Ops 2 more than any other Call of Duty.

As a Kill Confirmed player, grabbing tags is so important and I really struggle to understand why people ignore them.

I'm pretty saddened by the people who chose their KD over SPM and W/L. Those two are the ones that matter this COD. That said, Objective player all the way. VERY seldomly I'll ignore the Objective, and it's only for two reasons.

1.) I'm in a game, where even playing the Objective won't make a difference, we already lost/won.

2.) I'm trying to get a specific challenge (weapon, general challenge, etc.) done.

I get frustrated pretty quickly while in public matches solo. I usually will get on my mic and tell people "Hey you are playing a team based game, if you're not a team mate, go play FFA!"

Alot of time, I think it's common sense. I play Dom/KC/Dem, no S& or CTF. I am always surprised at lack of effort people put into a game. I am not saying go "try-hard" every match, but a simple 1 person on A or C while 2 or more run for B makes all the sense to me.

I play the objective but get kills in the process. I like to win and pad my stats at the same damn time.
