Call of duty has basically become a kill whore game. FACT.

So how many of you actually play for the objective?

Here's a few examples...

1. You actually pick up tags in Kill confirmed! The amount of people who run away from tags is ridiculous! If you get 30 kills you should be getting at least 20-25 confirms. If you see a tag, you go pick it up!

2. Domination you actually go for the B flag. Time and time again you see people sitting away from the flag aiming at it, but never capturing it. They will run through it, but not stop.

People would rather take a loss than affect their k/d.

If you helped your team capture that donination flag you could have won the game, however you sat in a corner, or in a window somewhere so you didn't get below a 3k/d.

So how many of you actually play for the objective?

Depends what mood I'm in.
If I feel I should rush in and care for K/D, I'll do so. I'm becoming more an objective player but still try to maintain a 2+ K/D at least.

There needs to be a third option. Getting kills and winning aren't mutually exclusive. I prefer to enjoy myself while winning and padding stats like Htx stunna said.

If you have to barely go positive to kdr wise to win every game then you need to stop playing solo.

Third option would be "secure then win over maintaining kdr". That is what I do. Playing in a party is the key to it all. Your wins will skyrocket and your kdr will improve.

Party and strategy are two most important things. Again the problem with solo play isn't killwhoring. It's players who barely go positive AND lack strategy because they suck.

Honestly, I was always a kill whore, but I never ignored the objective. But Blops 2 has made me play the objective more due to the score streaks. And surprisingly in doing that, I have been able to keep my K/D and W/L above 2.0. My W/L is usually always below 2.0.

As for the kill confirmed,I know what you mean! People kill but ignore tags and I'm always like, this is NOT TDM! I might call in a lighting strike, get 5 kills and my team ignores the dogs tags. By the time i try to rush to get them myself, the enemy has denied them.

Yeah this really pisses me off, as I'm a domination player an it's so annoying when u go to capture any flag an there is 2 or 3 of us near it ill go for it thinking they will help but they all just camp in corners or at angles to pick up kills its stupid if people want just kills they should play a kill based game rather than sitting in corners to pick up one kill

You only need half your team going for the B flag while a couple make sure to be in position to defend the other flag you already have.

Domination is a kill friendly game mode if you're not obsessed with having all three flags. Again there is a winning strategy and then there is running around pressing buttons for no rhyme or reason. In 6v6 domination we normally have 3 of us go for B flag. Making sure we're facing different directions to kill attackers then we simply maintain and rush around the two flags we have and on smaller maps we run on enemy flags. Again a guy getting 40+ kills in domination usually helps your team. It's the bad players who ignore objectives that you need and can't get higher than a UAV that hurt.

I think people have the wrong idea of what a kill whore is. Kill whores amd stationary campers aren't the same.

I feel the exact same way. Nobody ever plays the objective exact me and some of my friends.

i fucking hate the ****s who get tags, i only go kills + objective if we are losing, im good at obth :fa: if i go objective my team always wins, BORING!!!!!!!!!!!
