Post: Anyone else not "on their game"?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); No this isn't another useless server thread asking if I'm banned or if the servers are down or not. I mean are you doing well on black ops 2. I know there are some people on to first, second, third, even fourth prestige, but is anyone else having trouble getting used to the game? I jumped straight into multiplayer the first day thinking "Its COD, I know I'll do well" but I was badly mistaken. I got into about 7 or 8 different lobbies before i got into a match. I just chalked this up to the servers getting used to the new user load, but after I got in a match, I was horrible. I have only played one game so far where I have gone positive in terms of k/d. I took a break for a few days and figured I'd let the servers work themselves out and see if the amount of lag spikes go down. I got on to play yesterday and still no change. Laggy as ever. I honestly thought it was just me being bad after a long weekend (my high school went to semi-state and it was a 3 hour ride down there and back. I also went to the Notre Dame game this weekend), so i decided to play some Battlefield to see if I just had lost my edge after a long weekend. The first few games I played I had over a 3 k/d ratio and only one below a 2. (1.6 k/d) Unless they manage to fix the lag that black ops 2 is plagued with, I won't be seeing much multiplayer. I don't play ranked matches anymore trying to save my k/d. So after this long rant/complaining/bitching I do have a question.
Has anyone else not been able to do well since the game came out, or is it just me? If you haven't been doing well, what is your reason? If you have been doing well, have you noticed any problems and found a way around em, or have any tips for someone who usually avgs a 1.68 k/d getting a .68 consecutively?

I've struggled a some too, and in BO1 i had a kD of 2.14. BO2 maps force you to move around and be more active. Best strategy for me is too keep moving forward around the perimeter of the map. Don't look around to much to find people to kill, or ur dead. Stay away from middle of maps where most deaths acure.

The first night was awesome for me, actually. SPM/KD/Win wise. Then it went down hill, I think I was too worried about stats and not actually focusing. Caring too much every time I died, I was trying to do the math in my head about what my kd would be like now, which only caused me to die more and more. I stay away from TDM. I have 1.7 or above k/d is all the other cods and this one, on tdm I am at like 1.15 or something but I just got to 100 kills.

I stopped sweatin' it, I realized BO2 is an objective game. I just go in Merc Moshpit and I do well. I have learned some of the maps alot better this way. I feel lost playing tdm on BO2, I never have a destination on where I am going and why I am going there.

A good tip to all shooters... When in danger, run away. Serious.

I will say this. on Hijacked I started the first round of domination 43-2. Second round it seemed like I couldn't do nothing and my whole team the same. I was playing with randoms but I ended up 54-20. There are times were I'm on a roll and then times I can't kill anybody. Not sure what it is but it seems like I get screwed over. No matter how many bullets I put into someone they can turn around and kill me with a shot or two.

Cake is a lie
Yeah it is weird. I think the game is a little tougher than most COD. The bad thing is more much UAV spam because the enemy can't get higher killstreaks and UAV is easy. I mean no matter how good or bad enemy is doing they seem to get UAV. Good thing is of course no Support and the higher score streaks are amazing, like most powerful in any COD game, maybe more than MW2.

My stats are actually better this release week than last year's. My wins are the issue. I haven't been getting my win % high enough and that is frustrating. After getting used to maps and erratic spawns my kdr and everything else went up which am never too concerned about because cream rises to the top.

It has been a catch 22. Playing solo I can dominate but I get stuck with 5-25 teammates who.don't know how to play. I wish I'd get stuck with these "killwhore" teammates so they can get kills why I cap flags. I get stuck with Die whores lmao.

Playing in a party seems laggy and a clusterfuck. So yeah that aspect is of the game is most frustrating. I enjoy the game and wins will go up I am sure despite lag but MW3 at this point last year was way more fun. Black Ops two years ago this time was way more fun. I'm optimistic though.

2RAW4THESTREET
The Best who ever lived
I am that way right now and it's annoying me. At the first few days of the game, I was dropping 30-3, 30-5 matches in FFA. Now I'm going 30-15 and such. My K/D and W/L have dropped to 2.0 and 2.20 respectively. I'll get in gun battle constantly where I clearly got the headstart on shooting the guy first, yet I end up dying. I don't know if that if b/c of the game and how it feels or b/c of laggy servers(though I usually have 4 bars)
