(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why do people care about stats they do nothing. How many players actually look at someones stats than if their good send them a postive message?I dont understand why people would "Dashboard" a round because they loose.Does having a certian k/d or w/l at a certian prestiege give you a unique emblem or trophy or something cool?

What you posted is a HUGE straw man argument. In previous COD maybe a "camper" could have high kd and ignore objectives and blah but in Black Ops 2 this is false. Black Ops 2 is a rushers game favoring SMGs and camping for too long gets you killed so much easier. I'm not saying there aren't people who camp for high streaks but unless their playing against bad players they won't have much success.

There are plenty of reasons to play objectives in Black Ops 2. In Kill Confirmed people damn near fight over collecting tags and triple capping to make getting higher streaks easier. Camping is also a subjective argument because just because some scary ass dude can have success sitting in a corner with Target Finder ADS headglitch, with M8A1 or bouncing betties and shock charges doesn't mean anyone can do that exact same thing and get the exact same results. KBlack Ops 2 is a harder game for most people but getting high streaks doesn't require camping but it doesn't require knowing when to to pull back on aggression or flank better. You could kill 5 enemies and collect 5+ dog tags and get an Orbital VSAT which clearly you can rush once you get that boom you have higher streaks so it's honestly not that difficult to get high streaks as it may seem.

My point is besides those prestige glitchers a kd in the 2-3 range and 300-500 spm isn't because the guy camped I could all but guarantee you. The problem is COD players never know when they're bad and if your kdr is lower than 1 then you're bad... And you can blame camping, rushing not being a virgin or whatever you fancy.

I haven't got banned but since they screwed up my account I haven't played like I used to. I was working on my guns legit and it took the challenge away. Now if I do get reset or banned I got to start it all over. Which it going to piss me off.

I agree that BO2 is different and not as many campers , but still campers , and I specifically stated "spawn camp" to get their k/d high instead of planting or capturing.

But the mindset CODTARD is something that follows most players from the previous cod.

I can't iterate how many times I go in a game and I tell the Loser he's a Loser and his come back is , Hey at least My K/D is better. Wtf? We just beat you and your here boasting about your K/d /facepalm

generally speaking a better k/d means you are better at COD but for me all I like to see is the other team get rapped by my killstreaks

i would like to know the answer to this question as well, i use to care about my K/D but ive noticed it hardly ever moves. Considering that the amount if moves by is .01% every so often its not even worth working towards anymore cause the only way you'll get a high one is by never dieing, or boosting.

I see alot of people saying it indicates if someone is good, but honestly your basing that on a .1% system someone who runs and guns can go 30/24 and be on top of the list even on the loosing team it doesn't make them bad just means they died. Woop dii doo, people need to stop basing opinions on a system thats more broken than a Call of Duty knife.

My main issue is people acting like everyone with higher stats has to camp which isn't true. To be honest with you if you play enough noobs you can have a decent kd anyway. I am not disputing the fact people act like kdr measures your penis size or credit rating when it doesn't. The are the same amount of campers in BO2 it is just camping doesn't yield high scores on BO2 they way rushing does. People also rush more than camp in COD anyway.

My point was the other point of view. The people who act like just because they don't have high stats that stats don't matter. I play with a guy with a 3+ kdr totally legit and he rushes and I am constantly in awe of how he destroys people. He'll go 70-5 while I am thinking my 44-6 is doing something lol. Trying to say everyone that seem good is really just a camping virgin is ridiculous. Camping nor rushing alone won't make someone good. You could give me an LSAT with target finder and 2 Bettys and I wouldn't get as many kills as running around with Vector.

Black Ops 2 is about connection, reaction time and aggressive play. Everyone doesn't have the same skill level. Camping like I said is subjective and doesn't measure skill. The problem is COD players have a checklist of shit to discredit each other:

1. Did he camp
2. Is he using an overpowered weapon
3. Is he a tryhard.

In the end you have to just do your best and see where the chips lay.

My motto is a high kd doesn't necessarily mean someone is good but a low kd means someone is bad more times than not.

Royalties
Legit As F*ck
I try to keep mine high because it gives me a challenge and that challenge is what make me keep playing. I consistently try to play games above my average K/D to keep increasing it. If I didn't challenge myself like this I would simply get bored of playing the game very fast.

i often hold a 1 man spawn trap in maps with poor spawn like drone, plaza, raid, they all end up screaming their mics at me lolz, it's amazing how people try to discredit you, i mean who's bad enough to let a guy playing alone run into your spawn and keep killing everyone :|, surprisingly i never heard the overpowered weapon remark, or camping (probably because they can see killcams, but ppl still call ppl campers for no reason), tryhard comes out a lot though especially from playing against good players in parties, but i am far from focused during a game lol

No accountability is COD community's main issue. There is a reason people can get VSAT, Lodestars, Swarms and so forth and others struggle to get UAV. To simplify it as camping or being a "tryhard" completely discredits any ability to aim, shoot, manage recoil, react and have awareness.

It is usually the guys who go 13-35 or an opponent got Swarm that cries camper the most. In a 6-9 man team everyone isn't going to rush 100% of the time especially in Domination, HQ, Hardpoint. It also presumes that no one on their team was camping. People hate losing or someone doing better so they find a way to hate. If you have good teammate or are exceptional solo than it doesn't matter. I think people act like high stats mean everything or the other extreme of having a low kdr, and spm that they aren't bad and everyone else just camps. I also try to avoid Aftermath and Turbine because those maps actually favor camping more than rushing. Good for sniping though.
