(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why do people care about stats they do nothing. How many players actually look at someones stats than if their good send them a postive message?I dont understand why people would "Dashboard" a round because they loose.Does having a certian k/d or w/l at a certian prestiege give you a unique emblem or trophy or something cool?

Because back in the day... stats used to mean something. Now they don't but the average Call of Duty player is naive and caught up into the moment to realize that stats don't be shit unless they win a lot without dashboarding which you rarely see nowadays.

In my perspective, stats are very important in Call of Duty. For one, it gives other people a touch of how skillful you are depending on how high your stats are, and two it prevents you from being called a "noob" and stuff.

Obviously if there is a player in the lobby with a 2.89 KDR and a 3.87 W/L then I would want to be on his team.

BO2 benefits good players. So once you get a VST, Lodestar or especially Swarm what incentive do they have to stay and get destroyed? Maybe they care about stats or maybe they JUST WANT THE BLEEDING TO STOP lol.

My opinion on stats is since we don't have an official president of COD saying who is good then overall stats do matter to a degree. A guy with high kdr and spm is probably a good player although if he has win/loss under .80 he probably just quits to maintain it and only cares about kills.

If a guy has kdr under 1.2 he is an average player or maybe he just screws around. High w/l means a FFA player or playing in parties.

I set goal for 2.4 kd, 2.8 w/l and 450-500 spm. Now does that mean I'm going to sweat my ass off and camp to get that, No. For one you have to be aggressive to do well in BO2. Kdr especially should be something that shows you how you're playing NOT something you try and manipulate. So the extremes of "I got to dashboard to maintain my stats" and "stats don't mean anything because despite my most used streaks being Hunter Killer, I am a beast" are equally ridiculous. You are what you are. Most COD players are always good and everyone that does well is a camper or no life in their mind. So stats help cut through the bs. You can generally tell when stats are fake or manipulated anyway especially if you just go to theater mode.

Have fun with the game and if they cared so much about stats they probably should get a new hobby... You seem to be salty that people don't stay and let you rape them....

A high W/L ratio also means a good search and destroy player, which got mostly abandoned when activision decided it was a worthless game mode therefore gave people low scores, the average s&d player has an spm of like 200, this is so fair.

Or people who have high KD's often think about getting into MLG Competions, or Being a youtube Gamestar, like Whiteboy7thst, xJawz, Woody's Gamertag, TheSyndicateProject, etc. I never used to care about my K/D, in MW3 i used to go negative, but idgaf about it. Summary: People who care aobut their K/D just want to make a good impression on any person, or want to probablly get famous, or get into MlG.

Whiteboy7thst isnt good, ive been in lobbys 3 times w him and everytime hes went negative and rage quit twice. Youtube montages make u look better then wat u r
