Call of Duty: Black Ops developer Treyarch has severely dampened chances of World at War's extremely popular Zombies mode appearing in the new game, telling CVG "this is it" as far as major feature reveals go.

Speaking to CVG at the Black Ops multiplayer reveal event in LA this morning, Treyarch community man Josh Olin said the developer only has "little things" left to reveal on the multiplayer side. We can't talk for it, but we wouldn't class Zombies as a "little" feature.

"This is pretty much it," Olin told CVG. "There are still some other little things that we haven't talked about yet but will at a later date, but this is pretty much the whole caboodle."

Asked if that means Treyarch's shown all major features for Black Ops, Olin replied: "Yes, this is what we've been working on for the past two years,"

Last month a retailer listed Black Ops zombie maps as freebies included with the game's special edition. Bar miscommunication though, it looks like we could be disappointed.

people should really learn to read properly.. yes everybody knows that the 4 old maps will be coming to those who buy hardened or prestige but that doesn't mean there is going to be a new zombie collection coming to black ops. If i wanted to play the old maps i'd just go on WAW

hmmn old maps maybe but with new guns and better graphics.. so better than going back to waw

They remade the w@w zombie maps for black ops so why wouldn't they make a few more zombie maps? :black:

Ok!? But if they give you the four old Nazi Zombies maps! Why wouldn't they make more? Commen sense.. If they don't make anymore then whatever! But Nazi Zombies are going to be running on a different Engine, so better graphics and The zombies physics would be alot better. No glitching zombie levels eaither so people won't be making it to 50 and over, which is clearly impossible if you play the right way without glitching.

Oh noes! I really hope they have it, would be stupid not to add it. It makes so much money for them :/ .

well treyarch already stated that there would be some sort of co-op mode, so obviously there still is something that isnt revealed yet

"The other popular question is will Zombies be in the game. The event was multiplayer only and Treyarch aren't prepared to reveal their co-op mode until later this year. But GamePro did find something interesting. They were digging into the game's achievements and found two that related to waves of Zombies. I'm not too sure if the achievements will have even been programmed into the game yet or if Treyarch would let something this big slip under their noses. Therefore, only take this as a rumor rather than any confirmation."

Of course there will be zombies. It is the most wanted thing on this game, so why wouldn't they put it on? If they didn't put it on then the game would lack in sales. They can put it on and they will put it on. GO ZOMBIES!

like i said in my post of what i thought about zombies, is that zombies was a major saling point for W@W so if they dont add it then they are STUPID. But hey they are putting in last stand so...
