i tried the new way on patch 1.05 and the game startd and worked and i wasted 2 hours getting to 50plant bomb and then i back out still level 18 online

when game start and you pick your class click the start button on your controller and you should see the xp bar at the bottom of the screen tells you need 300 xp , that means you are on other wise end game and do it all over .

Ok 1st of all this worked for me but i had to stop at level 49 :/ becoz my bro... any way here u go. Add:rafz_stp123 on psn

Ok, So here are the steps to do this:
1. Go to system settings , System Language, set to Francais.
2. Use Elitemossy's Patch blocker and bypass the patch, go to multiplayer and click play online it will load for ages then will finally say Servers are down
3. Quit game and take Patch blocker OFF.
4. Re-install the patch, then click multiplayer, then it will say your level 1.
5. Do LAN Glitch by Hovering over friend's name and hit Square.. Make sure his session is full.., Then it will say "SESSION IS FULL" then hit X then go to start match in LAN .
6. Go to whatever level you want ( for a test ) you don't even need to go to 50 if you don't want to.
7. Plant the bomb's until you win 4-0
8. Play 1 online game of SnD PLAY THE WHOLE GAME!!!
9. Leave the pre-game lobby. Buy 1 contract and hit playercard, and buy as many things as u can and after everytime you buy something you hit O then hit Save and quit.. Buy atleast 3 items..
10.. Wait a bit you don't have to wait till contract's update.. ( atleast wait 5-10 minutes)
11. Go to the MAIN MENU where it will say Campaign , Nazi Zombies, Multiplayer blah blah blah..
12. Go back in multiplayer hit play online ..
13. Voila it should stick..

Note: Your account has to be level 1 either reset via bypass or a new acc.
-Reach level 50 get to the prestige you want. - E.G if you want to get prestige 7 stop at pres 6 level 50 with 40k xp to prestige.
- Pick a gamemode you'd like to do that 40k in.
- Once your ready to prestige buy any emblem first don't put it on just buy that.
-Get level 2 and stop leveling (Crucial) don't go over level 2. Also don't leave the game you are in when your level 2 play it full. If you get level 2 just camp somewhere in a corner waitin for the game to finish. Make sure you are doing search prefences as local only
-Now sit in a party alone until your contract's update it is crucial you don't touch online until 2 hours after the contracts have updated.
-If you don't know when your contracts update before you prestiged you could check.
- Now it should be your desired prestige level 2 On a account thats never before played online until now.
-Join a friends party, Tell him to kick you.
- Once you've been kicked quit game restarting bo
- error message blablabla
Hopefully this should make your account stick. I could've tested this but i don't get my ps3's back for a while now. =\.

Alright guys, Here's what worked for me. I did the normal LAN XP glitch until level 50, 30K or so XP from unlocking prestige. I bought a gun, a few attachments and also a new title. Then I played HC SnD/Core SnD online until I unlocked prestige. Make sure you don't leave game until it finishes. I then prestiged in the lobby and stayed in the game until rank 10 on the next prestige. I then bought the title of my new prestige and anything else I could afford. Shortly after I decided to do the LAN glitch again. So I got to 50 and went to buy things on my playercard when my PS3 froze. So i was like 'oh shit'. I rebooted my PS3 and got the corrupted error message saying I had been reset to pres. 4 lvl 10 . Just to clear things up, I began at pres. 3 lvl 20. LAN glitched till 50.
Did above steps. Then at lvl 10 pres. 4 decided to glitch again. That didn't stick but the original LAN did . I don't know if this will be of value to any but I'ma put it out there anyway and get back to me with proggies! Hope this works for you as it did me. Enjoy.

CONCLUSION:

After some time thinking about things I believe I may have made a breakthrough. After reading what I posted above I would like to see if people agree/disagree with my conclusion here.

Ok so follow the above steps, then do LAN again once ur lvl 10 on the prestige after u XP glitched. So do it again now to lvl 50. Then prestige etc. And reboot BlOps. You should get set back to lvl 10 of that prestige. What I think is happening is:
The BlOps servers realise you XP glitched the first time but because you haven't quit the game they can't do anything about it yet. Then the server realises your doing the XP glitch again after you reach your level 10. So it thinks: 'oh shit, I better back this kid up so he/she doesn't get his next XP glitch rank to stick', so it backs you up at the current pres. level 10 your on. Then you've successfully acheived to get your prestige to stick.
