Black ops was dead for me after the first week, its just so borring. Call of Duty is just getting old. Its the same thing over and over.

well just to state facts, in the evenings European time there was around 500K online quite consistently on the ps3, this probably dropped to around 450k in the run in to Xmas.

after Xmas its been around 700k. (obvious influx of noobs)

i don't think its dying, but i do have a lot of friends who are not playing BOps ATM, most of these say they'll return when the bugs are ironed out

even though so many people are ditching B.O i for one still play the game most of my freinds list play mw2 but they occassionally play B.O but to all people hoping COD will die it wont because people keep buying it im just waiting for mw3 made by INFINITY WARD which made the famous COD4 and infamous MW2 but still they'll make that game really good i hope

I think Call of Duty in general is dying. Zombies is and will always be fun though

I agree, BO was fun at first but then it got really boring really fast. Hopefully the new map pack will shed some sunlight on the solar panel that is BO and give some electricity to this fried game. I too have moved on, lately I have been addicted to Gran Turismo 5, and RDR Undead Nightmare.

Honestly, most people play COD simply because of how popular and big the COD name has become, when weather you like it or not there are A LOT of better games out there. Seriously, take my word for it. Undead Nightmare for example is an OPEN WORLD ZOMBIE GAME, it does NOT get much better than that for zombies, sure its western but who gives a rats ass. Just play the games for what they are and don't play them because the name of it has been milked to death. BROADEN your mind to other things!

Its getting a bit boring, but most of you posting in this thread are idiots.

Theres still 500k+ on ps3 99% of the time and im sure theres even more on xbox. The game won't be dead for another year or two. Mw2 still has around 100k and its been out for a while. Give the game a chance and get used to it before you judge it.

i feel that 3ARC just cant create an addictive multi player online game, hell just look at my prestiges lol CoD4 9th W@W 2nd MW2 9th Bo 3rd, imo 3ARC should just make zombie games dont get me wrong i like DR2 but i want to see an actual fps zombie shooter like L4D on the ps3. bet cod will die off soon cuz respawn will create something better (hopfuly lol)
