To give you an idea, in a *nix you can change it through command line and the ifconfig command (mac os x, unix, linux). In both windows xp and windows vista, you'll have to use registry edit. For the PS3, its most likely very possible to do it For Ps3 & Xbox

I was just looking at the ps3 and saw that obviosley you have a wired and wireless they are two seperate hardware so it have different Mac Id"s if you were banned on the wired connection change over to wireless or visa versa have your isp change you ip address to then you ban should be gone at least until you get banned again this isnt a cure just a second chance i suppose

You Can Change The IP Adress of the Ps3 Thats Easy , But The Mac idk ?
I Checked NAND With Infectus but nothing Relating to MAC Adress

but i Noticed That you Wireless And wired Network Have Some Little Chips . Maby Its Stored In There . But i Cant Read It Out For Now

I gurantee its through the mac adress or IP or both it is definitley not through your psn because whn i got banned i went on my other ps3 and already had mine recovered on there and i could still play its either your MAC aDress or/and your IP

heres how to change ip, if you use linksys router, but i dont think itll unban you

All you need to unban a ps3 it's PSID editor .
You need to downgrade to 3.41 ,intall it ,dump your actual psid ,add another real psid on *.txt (on a usbstick ),flash your ps3 .
