I have NEVER seen an actual source for that 50,000 figure either. I honestly doubt 50,000 PS3s were permabanned. I don't even think 50,000 accounts were banned.

I could care less if they unban me or not, haha.

they might unban people because if there is another prestige hack i bet mostly every1 is not going to do it cuz they dont want to get banned. i no i am not going to do it again

Ehh, I enjoyed campaign, & zombies (a bit), but how long can you play those to make progress with anything? Haha. The MP is trash because Treyarch purposely made it that way, it was a waste of a midnight release & $60.

personally, i spent 13 hours straight prestige hacking people for free, about 50 something people. you think i am NOT the only one doing that.

The views don't mean THAT much. Hell I viewed it, but didn't do the hack of course. I mean only 468 people liked it. So views isn't a great indication. And to answer your question YES I do think less than 50,000 consoles got banned.Mostly because in that thread you speak of and the original thread there were people who had multiple hacked accounts on 1 PS3. I remember seeing one guy who had like 5 hacked accounts on 1 PS3...That still counts as 1 PS3 not 5.

And you're not accounting for the people who said **** it and bought another PS3 or bought an Xbox 360. The point is I nor anybody has the exact figure, and if you'd do I'd like to see it is all.

I personally just think people say 50,000 because they figure Treyarch just "has" to unban them to make that map pack money(even though they don't).

If there was 10,000 consoles even I'd believe it more. I would just like to see a stat. Hell could be 70,000 consoles, point is WE DON'T KNOW. So just throwing out a number doesn't help.

No. They're not going to unban anyone. It specifically says "this console has been permanently banned". I don't understand why people keep questioning this. I understand those of you who have your hopes up, but sadly it just isn't going to happen. Treyarch made plenty of money on game sales alone and they're going to make a shit ton of more money off the map packs for both consoles. Yes the bans will affect ps3 map pack sales but not significantly, they're still gonna have a shit load of sales from people who play legit. I'm one of those people who got console banned too, and I accepted the fact that I'm banned and I just play legit on xbox with my friends, and it's more enjoyable then it ever was on ps3.

If by some miracle everyone does get unbanned, then I'll stand corrected. As of now, it's not happening. Sorry to break it to you, but permanent means forever.
