So many of us are a little frustrated because the Black Ops DLC was region locked. For example, I have a UK account but live in Malta, so I thought I could hide my IP and download the DLC from xbox.com, but I found out the download kept stopping at 99%. Today I gonna show you how to get past the IP scan and download anything you want from anywhere in the world. I'm gonna be using a free UK VPN service, for Americans try find a US VPN service.

What you need:
2 Lan Card OR A wireless connection and an Ethernet cable.
A Brain.

So what I did first is go to freeukvpn.com and on the homepage there should be this:

Then go to your network and sharing centre. And hit "Set up a new connection or network"

Then hit "Connect to a Workplace"

Click Next

Then press "Use my Internet Connection"

Then type in the address in my case it is freeukvpn.com. I got that address from the first picture. And name it whatever you want.

Click Next

Then enter the username and password. Which for me is free and 821519. Beware the password changes daily on freevpnuk.com. You can leave out the domain.

And hit connect!

Now you should be connected, to check go to google.com and it should be Google UK

Now for the tricky part.

Go back to the network and sharing center and click on "Change Adapter Settings"

Then find your VPN Connection. Mine's called "VPN Connection 2." Right click and go to properties, then click on the sharing tab.

Then tick the first box (something might pop-up, just click OK) then from the drop down bar select "Local Area Connection"

Now, if your Xbox was on, switch it off. Once off connect the Ethernet cable from your computer to the Xbox. Switch on the Xbox and go download the content you want! It worked for me, so it should work for you.

So what is region locked sorry for my noobiness but is it when something is uploaded for US and the UK cant view it?

Imagine I have a US Xbox account but live in Canada. When you try download something with a region lock the Xbox will detect a Canadian IP and won't let you download it. In this tutorial I show you how to trick the Xbox into thinking you are in the US thus letting you download anything you want.

Your black ops ban detects your mac address not your ip address :y:

Does it really but you can get a psn spoofer .pkg but that didn't work for people
