So many of us are a little frustrated because the Black Ops DLC was region locked. For example, I have a UK account but live in Malta, so I thought I could hide my IP and download the DLC from xbox.com, but I found out the download kept stopping at 99%. Today I gonna show you how to get past the IP scan and download anything you want from anywhere in the world. I'm gonna be using a free UK VPN service, for Americans try find a US VPN service.

What you need:
2 Lan Card OR A wireless connection and an Ethernet cable.
A Brain.

So what I did first is go to freeukvpn.com and on the homepage there should be this:

Then go to your network and sharing centre. And hit "Set up a new connection or network"

Then hit "Connect to a Workplace"

Click Next

Then press "Use my Internet Connection"

Then type in the address in my case it is freeukvpn.com. I got that address from the first picture. And name it whatever you want.

Click Next

Then enter the username and password. Which for me is free and 821519. Beware the password changes daily on freevpnuk.com. You can leave out the domain.

And hit connect!

Now you should be connected, to check go to google.com and it should be Google UK

Now for the tricky part.

Go back to the network and sharing center and click on "Change Adapter Settings"

Then find your VPN Connection. Mine's called "VPN Connection 2." Right click and go to properties, then click on the sharing tab.

Then tick the first box (something might pop-up, just click OK) then from the drop down bar select "Local Area Connection"

Now, if your Xbox was on, switch it off. Once off connect the Ethernet cable from your computer to the Xbox. Switch on the Xbox and go download the content you want! It worked for me, so it should work for you.

Oh ok i switched back to the VPN and now its on 99% and its taking a really long time, that suppost to happen?

Yeah it takes long on the VPN connection, try close every browser window, that might help

Its been on 99% for about 15 mins, that meant to happen?

You must have done something wrong. What VPN are you trying to connect. Do you have a UK account but live abroad?

I signed up for xbox live in the UK and downloaded these in the UK. One of my friends decided to be a idiot and migrate my account so south africa. I am using a UK VPN and i cant migrate my account back to UK.

Then you need a South African IP to bypass it. I not sure what to do with migrated accounts.
