I like the Intervention but earlier i started using the 50.Cal for a few matches and actually liked it.

Although the Intervention feels like it has more power behind it for some reason.

It was the first sniper I did to complete all of the challenges and it is a one-shot-kill 95% of the time like Meow said. I run around with sensitivity on 10 and pick people off close range. I love it but I am sure I could be better with a semi-auto though.

Depends on what I am playing. For hardcore and reg SnD I will use the Intervention. I like the Barrett for Domination, CTF, Team Tactical.

Intervention, its just a lot more fun to use and it seems like sometimes the Barrett has hit detection issues

I used the PTRS in COD5, used R700 in COD4 and Intervention in MW2
I find that theres so much resemblance between the guns, it just seems natural to use them.

Barret .50 cal because if U miss a shot u could always spray and likely kill the person.. unlike the Intervention. Happy

Intervention because with fmj its basically always a one shot kill. also it's not frowned upon because you cant point and spray
