(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I just finished the game on Veteran. I have 44 of 45 pieces of Intel. I know exactly where the last piece is, however, the Intel is simply not there. The last piece of Intel I need is on the "Just Like Old Times" mission. It is the third piece of Intel that is sitting on the crate near the black boxes right after Price says "Use your Thermals to take out the enemies". It's simply not there, you can see the empty space where the laptop sits but nope. I have restarted the mission 4 times. Everytime its missing.

This is last piece of Intel and would give me 100% completion in the Campaign and I would have this game 100% complete from multiplayer to campaign.

So does anybody got a clue why these assholes at InfinityWard decided to put such a half-ass,(excuse my french) piece of shit game like this on the market.

And before I go any further. Yes this game is crap. All of it. Everything from leveling the playing field for noobs on Multiplayer, to modded lobbies, to carepackage and javelin glitches, hacked leaderboads and missing Intel items: All of it.

I'll tell you why they did it.

You really wanna know?

InfinityWard did this because they know they cannot stop players from modding their game and using all different kinds of game exploits. They produced this (pardon me) God-awful-****ing game so that Activision can build its case that there needs to be network policing.

And we, the gaming community, fell head first into their trap.

Let me ask you something.

Have ever wonder why there was no Beta released before this game came out?

I'll tell you why.

If InfinityWard did release a Beta, then that forces them to address many problems before the game releases. After its released they can simply blame the gaming community for exploiting their game.

Pausible deniability, people.

Do you expect me to believe all the time they spent on this game, they didn't figure out that if you jump over something with a carepackage marker and switch weapons you'll get another one after you throw it.

It took $1 billion dollars and a conspiracy firing of InfinityWard Exec's to figure that out ?

Well shit me a golden hammer.

They knew all along. They planned it and we bit hook, line and sinker.

Activision and many other developers have been pushing for this for quite sometime and they will use this game as an example as to why they need it. A $1 billion dollar game so hacked up you need a surgeon to stitch it back together.

In the near future when you purchase a game or online account you will pay a little extra fee. That fee will go towards monitioring you play their game so they can feel better about the product they produced. Nevermind if the game is flawed in some way and should have been corrected in development. You are not expected to exploit that game and will be watched closely.

Wake up people.

I say screw you Activision. I'll play your poorly developed game, however I damn well please. I bought it. I don't see the caisher in the Walmart Gardening Department monitioring the guy who just bought 10 grow lamps and 2 bags of potting soil.

What makes you so special?

Why must I invite you in to my home so you can watch me play your ****ed up game?

Are you going to tell me that it's for the greater good of the gaming community to have the special task force to watch your servers? Well maybe if you didn't put such trash out on the shelf you wouldn't need people montioring it. Ever thought of that.

So here's what I am going to do. I am going to hack this game, get my last piece of Intel so that I have 100% complete on everything, get my spinning skull emblem and never buy another game from you again. I don't give a rats ass if you make the biggest, badest FPS game ever. You won't receive a dime from me, then you won't have anybody but yourself to blame when things get screwed up. I'll resort to playing original Nintendo before I pay you to monitor me. Somebody should be monitoring your ass. Not mine. I didn't develop a flawed game, make over a billion dollars and then turn around and blame the game players for exploiting it. YOU DID.

Now, I am off to pay a hacker to hack your game so I get my spinning skull emblem. Just so you can ban me, which is what you wanted all along so you can make a solid case for your Gaming Gestapo.

Good riddance.

Well we don't know the other side of this story. Was activision telling IW what to do? Did jason west and any of those guys have any say in what goes in this game and not? IW didn't even want to do a MW2.

There is no other side.

What Activision says goes.

Read the Annual Report.

Here's a few excerpts:

Activision owns Call of Duty:

We own a number of successful intellectual properties such as the Call of Duty and Guitar Hero franchises.(page 7:2,4)

Activision owns IW and dispute between IW

In November 2009, the Company released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a game developed by one of the Company's wholly-owned studios, Infinity Ward. As noted above, Modern Warfare 2 was the best selling console title in the U.S. and Europe in 2009. Consistent with past practice, the Company intends to release a Call of Duty game in 2010 developed by another wholly-owned studio. The Company is concluding an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward. This matter is expected to involve the departure of key personnel and litigation. At present, the Company does not expect this matter to have a material impact on the Company.(page f-50:3)

And just for reference the 2009 listing of the major titles released and sequel information.

Our Activision business involves the development, marketing, and sale of products directly, by license, and through our affiliate label program with certain third-party publishers. Activision's products cover diverse game categories including action/adventure, action sports, racing, role-playing, simulation, first-person action, music, and strategy. Activision's target customer base ranges from casual players to core gamers, and children to adults. During 2009, Activision released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , Guitar Hero V, DJ Hero , Band Hero , Tony Hawk: Ride, and PROTOTYPE and continued to publish licensed products, with titles such as Monsters vs. Aliens , Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , X-Men Origins: Wolverine , Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and several other titles. Activision is currently developing sequels to the Guitar Hero and Call of Duty franchises, True Crime , an action thriller through United Front Games, Blur through Bizarre Creations for the racing genre and Singularity a first person action game through Raven Software, among other titles.(page 1:2)

This is only for Activision. Remember Activision owns Blizzard, which has World of Warcraft.
