There is so much discussion about what is a noob or makes someone a noob but I haven't seen anything about what it is that makes someone NOT a noob.

So that got me thinking a thread in that vein could lead to some interesting discussion.

hehe, As far as I can tell, you're not a noob if you don't use any weapons and don't use any weapon attachments and you don't use any perks.

How about it, what makes you (or anyone) NOT a noob?

this is why i dont play mw2 as much because every1 is worried about being a noob. every1 who plays mw2 use the same guns(mostly). because they are scared of being a noob. like its just a playing style. people always say the guns are overpowered and stuff they want it to be more REAL. well in the REAL war you think there is such thing as rushing!? HELL NO. in the REAL war its more camping. everyone should calm down because its just a playing style. you might hate grenade launcher because it is annoying and noobish. other people may think intervention is noobish because it kills in one shot most of the time, or maybe rushing because they are slow. it doesn't matter what guns,perks you use its a style of play. that's how you enjoy the game. that's how you get your kills. that's how you have fun. STANDARD!

Your not a noob if you don't utilize the best guns

A lot of people ( not from this site) but in lobbies who B!tch about n00bs usually suck and can't get kills so they say sh!t is nooby to try and save some pride.

I don't care if i get called a noob if I'm getting 16 kills a game with my "noob" set up then I'm the biggest noob on the planet:p the only thing that really bothers me are noob tubes just because you'll be running and some guy will randomly fire a noobtube and get half your team. Its just annoying. the people that only use them when they can't get a good shot so they fire one at a sniper thats fine with me.

yep im with you. IM A NOOB. the people who do talk crap bout noobs just cant play the game

I just cant get it why people dont want to be a noob, I mean, I dont care a shit if Im a noob or not. I dont care if some little kids are crying just because I camp, or because I use noobtubes, lol.
But here, for anti.noobs:

Primary: riot
Secondary: stinger
Perk: bling (useless)
Perk: Hardliner (useless)
Perk: sit rep

No killstreaks...

Pretty much yes. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this either.

Hey I don't even play or own the game now because it is just full of stupid stuff like killstreaks that requires no teamwork or skill to play well.

Predator missile > Harrier > AC-130/Chooper gunner + Repeat process = Game over.

Take domination for example people completely ruined it because they would rather camp at one spot waiting for people to walk by so they can get there beloved PM then harrier than complete the objectives.

how in any way is intervention noob, i use intervention but never stay in one spot, i run around as if i have a assaul rifle, because if you can quick scope, you defianitly are NOT a noob...

ACR- Some people consider the ACR nooby, but how? it has the lowest damage therefore making it harder to kill you quicker.
USP- Good because 1. Doesn't provoke camping 2. not powerful but if you have a good trigger finger it can still be used to an advantage.
Blast Shield- Every other primary grenade provokes camping and/or lucky kills however Blast shield does not.
Stun- If you call someone a noob judging by the secondary grenade they use, you really need to stop playing.
Scavanger- When you use Scavanger with Semtex/Frag and noobtube, the perk is being missused, the perk really ment for gun ammunition.
The 2nd perk choice is hard seeing as, some people consider Stopping power nooby?, Lightweight wouldn't go with Scavenger well, Hardline is also consider nooby in the eyes of some, Cold-Blooded sometimes provokes camping, Danger close... nuff said.

But in my opinion I would go with Stopping Power.


3rd Perk, Commando is a no no!!, Last Stand is perfectly fine it just pisses people off. I would personally chose Ninja though to counter the HBS noobs which are growing as I type.

Deathstreak: Painkiller is also a no no! Final Stand is also fine but still pisses people off the same way as Last stand.

Yeah....so lets send this to Iw and as that they follow this when they make the next call of duty... so that way we will have a noob free game.....

Im a noob, im 7th prestige, and i suck at this game, i struggle to get 10 kills a round, i bitch about how people aim better than me, know where im at, have better reaction time than me. but i still play the game the way i want to.....So im a noob, wow, not even remotely upset at all, go figure.
