Many of my friends and I have been talking about whats better B 50. Cal or the intervention.

Mainly I like the intervention more because it has better accurracy-no scopeee and its bolt action + the barrett has waaaay to many hit markers, please share your opinion.

I prefer the Intervention over the Barrett, but the M21 is awesome, too. The only time I ever use a sniper rifle is with ACOG, Steady Aim, Stopping Power, and Sleight of Hand, so I don't just hide for the entire match. As such, I prefer weapons that award reflex, and the M21 and Intervention are both amazing at doing so--they both have their own strengths and weaknesses. I don't like the feel of the Barrett or the WA2000, but I have no doubt that they would be much more useful with the default sniper scope.

i say tht there equil because they both have good parts about them and bad parts. the berretts less accurate but is semi-auto, the intervention is very accurate but if you shoot sum1 but dont kill them ur ****ed

I dunno its a hard decision but i have always loved the intervention i started to use barret for awhile not much of a difference really

Intervention with FMJ, Barrett with Thermal.

no on maps like Underpass w/ 0 visibility it's good to have Thermal on Intervention too

I go with the Barret 50. Cal . The intervention tends to have more hitmarkers than the Barret in my statistics. I put FMJ on the intervention and it still doesn't get me that damn kill..just an annoying hitmarker. So when I started using the Barret, it doesn't need FMJ to kill an enemy. I always get kills with the Barret with one shot one kill without using FMJ. Barret 50. Cal is far more superior.

After mastering out both of these snipers, (2500 kills and 1000 headshots) I like using the Intervention a lot more. The .50cal is more powerful in my opinion. But when I snipe in CoD, (basically all I do) I like to use the Intervention because I feel that it requires more skill to use and do well with. The .50cal is easier to Quickscope with as it scopes in much faster than the Intervention. Overall, I like the Intervention more, but both snipers are beast. And by the way, the M21 blows.

PS - If you get a spray fire kill with the .50cal, it is NOT A NO SCOPE. It is you sucking so hard that you cannot kill the person without pushing a button quickly. It takes no skill to spray fire the .50cal.

no scoping is not what sniping is about. its about 'patience'. IW definatley screwed up because no way a .4 cal bullet top a .5 cal bullet and can have more hitmarkers. its just unreal.

i dont know what your talking about. m21 takes pure SKILL to get a kill, more than intervention. how can u say that when all u use is 1 or maybe 2 snipers? getting those 2 quick shots in to get the kill and being patient is the way to play, not rushing around with a damn sniper doing no scopes.
