I'm not sure but I think you need a user agent switcher with firefox in order to download it.
This is the new one the other link is a EUROPEAN version of the patch and it's 1.09.
If you want to edit it and get it on your PS3 you can do that too. Just download a proxy called Charles for firefox and set it up with your PS3. You can customize links so it will download from where you change it to from the tools menu see the rewrite instructions are pretty straight forward. Just upload it to a free web hosting provider. Don't use megashare or rapidshare use a direct link so the PS3 can download it.

Well i am just trying to figure out how to edit the patch! is there any program other than charles that will work?

Ffrom what i understand charles is just the Proxy tool you use to trick your ps3 into downloading something from your pc while it thinks it's getting it from the internet at a legit source.
I don't beleive that charles can be used to edit a patch, if you want to do that then you need to look at other threads in the hacking forum for the links to the tools that will allow you to do that.
The patch in this thread seems to be a patch for the ps3 rather than the cod patch which unless i am wrong is no use for those people trying to hack cod. (I was wrong on this point, i didn't even bother downloading the patch to check just saw the source and figured, sorry)
Also when you have found the tools listed in other threads you still wont have an easy job, you have to know COD x coding, and you must be able to decrypt the patch change the code to your liking re encrypt and get it back onto your ps3, not an easy task.
However, Good luck trying!

i think its a patch for cod its the 1.10 patch so it is used for mw2

You can't do much unless you can "decrypt" it. Recently I've been shooting the shit with a disassembler. I haven't done much but right now I'm just trying to make it say it's a higher version.
If you need a tutorial to use Charles then you probably aren't going to find it very useful. It only tracks http traffic but you can also map files on your computer to a certain address so you can rig most downloads.
If you're like me and you'd rather not firewire up to your hard drive you might find it useful though. Getting a modded update on is kinda simple. I'm not sure if you'll need it yet but here are some tools to get you started.
