i have used .bin to iso convertor to try and get file stucture out of it, it i get same jargon!!!
does anyone know the encryption that the patch uses??
or had anyone got any ideas of where i can go from here?> :confused:

the read me method works. and my method works.
the read me is a bit quicker. (but more chance of stray bits in the dycrypted data.
am modifiying my method. instead of using a 2.2gb dummy. i am gonna use a 100mb dummy.
cause every time i have done the the string has been the same for dummy
and before mods close lets get bk on subject..............
can anybody figure out the encrypted patch from my decrypted hdd?? need new ideas?? somehow get a file structure????

Okay i have an 8gb usb pen, if i create a dummy 8gb in size will it be useable but just take longer, and if my dummy is that big will it there be more repeated sectors to find??
