Dont get me wrong I do it all the time with friends but I mean its getting absurd imo, and most the people that do it sucks completely at it and then whenever you quickscope them they swear up and down you have a aimbot. So im just wondering whats your opinion on this?

not a phase... its a style of play... quickscoping has been around since back in COD4

even before COD4 in COD2 at least, me and my friends would play big red one/finest hour/cod(original) and just try to no scope and stuff while playing the sniping missions on campaign.

but there's a "phase" when most of the people are doing it... like when the acog m40 was actually cool to use.. now it's just annoying..

I quickscope only in search and destroy, since most ppl actually don't use UMP or commando if they're up against a sniper.. although I QS'd a guy in the head when he tried to double ranger me! xD

but I mostly play ground war, so I actually don't use my intervention much anymore.. I really like the m21! I get a headshot every 3 kills, plus I don't spray unless they're 5 feet in front of me (I can't remember the last time I knifed). I actually got 3 headshots in a row on sub base when playing demolition! xD

i used to quick scope in private matches with my friends but then i got bored of it cause all your doing is scoping fast at the target...and sometimes the bullets are even near the enemy and they still get the kill. Quick scoping is fun, but pretty bullshit.

Yeah, it's frigging gay. And whenever you snipe normally they're like OMG NOOB LEARN TO QUICKSCOPE.

TBH i do it because I can't hardscope. I know it seems hard to believe but I suck at hardscoping.
