Here's why:
PKG's are SIGNED with a Sony key. If you attempt to edit the file, it must be resigned. Say you do know the key. If you do, then why are you attempting to edit a PKG? You could just decrypt the HDD, then edit the file on the HDD. You could do much more than that, even, including making your own custom firmware which supports extracting game data to a USB Drive. Anyone who ACTUALLY thinks they have done anything with PKG's is wrong. Seriously. People with Debug/Test PS3's with all those extra debugging features can't even do anything with them. If you think that looking at these files in a hex editor is going to do anything, it won't.

Just a little something to prevent people from getting false hope.

I'm probably wrong about some of this, but I do KNOW that PKG's are signed and can't be edited in any way shape or form.

He is probably the best hacker on this entire website, and defiantly one of the top 3 to 5 on Modern Warfare 2.

If he says the .PKG is unmoddable, then guess what? The .PKG is unmoddable :p

im with you on this one, ive seen many threads made by ihatecompvir that are completly sucessful also and he would have to be up there in the top 5

also this other guy "The Spoken" keeps goin around running his mouth needs to shut up and also if he has hacked lobbies then why not actually help out (seen as how its a sharing community) or post a vid evidence of it.

I agree with both of you guys but i do not believe that the ps3 or MW2 is unhackable....

Lol, all this hacking got me thinking and loving how hard the PS3 is to hack, it's like MS didn't even try to add security to their console, lol..

80% of NGU members dont even know how to remove the ps3's HDD "without" breaking the warranty.

I seriously do not know how the **** only 2 people on the Earth know how to make a successful "challenge lobby" on ps3. This seriously blows my mind.

Point is that you can't say shit on the forums without any hardcore proof. So people are getting free post counts.
