UPDATE :

I GOT TO INSTALL THE PATCH FROM PROXY BUT WITH THE DSKTOP METHOD LIKE CLICK THE LITTLE BOX AND SELECT THE FILE AND IT STILL DIDNT WORK I HAD I PATCH WITHH ALL HACKS THANX TO FLOCKRCK AND I GUESS PATCH IS NOT THE METHOD MAYBE WE SHOULD LOOK OVER THE GPADO_MP OR PARAM FILES I DONT KNOW I CAN GET THE PATCH TO PS3 EVEN THE PATCH WITHH ALL HACKS BUT THEY ARE NOT FUNCTIONABLE

i can do this vid and show me reinstalling the normal patch from my pc with a proxy and you will see the same thing, this is not proof, we know that ps3 proxy can allow you to download things from your pc to your ps3. this thread needs to be closed to stop fooling people who are unaware of ps3 proxy and stop giving him rep for a video of installing a patch from his pc.

if you bypass you play without the patch... if its editing the patch that gives us the hacks i cant see that working

exactly. i can go show a little program on my comp remove mw2 patch and re-install and not show you anything.

gooooood point flaw in my plan but surely u cud put yur own patch of lower one on and bypass to it or something? probably me being stupid but eh

you guys are doing wut hunter didnt want he didnt release a tut because he nows sony will realease a new firmware update the second u do realease a tut so i hope every one has an hour of fun with this

so please tell us how you were able to uncompress the .pkg without error, then edit the patch with it saving, recompressing it, getting all the checksums and headers working without error. because it seems you were able to do all that hard stuff people are stumped on and then failed at the dvars, something that has no excuse in failing on because there are tutorials everywhere for it as well as a sticky for GSC coding.
