You must use a Hex Editor for this, and edit the GPAD0.MP File .

TuT:

1. Save youre files to a UsB
2. Open it up on youre computer with Hex Editor
3. Where it says "Welcome to Modern Warfare 2" Type over that at the beginning. And for each letter, Highlight the letter and Right Click
4. Where it says 'Hex Value' change the value to one of these to coresspond with the button you want.
    0E = START
0F = SELECT
10 = L3
11 = R3
12 = L2
13 = R2
05 = L1
06 = R1
14 = DPAD UP
15 = DPAD DOWN
16 = DPAD LEFT
17 = DPAD RIGHT
01 = X
02 = O
03 = []
04 = TRIANGLE

5. Once done, save the file.
6. Unplug your USB and put it in your Ps3.
7. Open up the USB and overwrite the file.
8. Start up Mw2 and look at the MoTD at the bottom Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Ok, I didnt know I could do this, but it works!

You must use a Hex Editor for this, and edit the GPAD0.MP File .

TuT:

1. I saved the savge Game and Player Profile file to my USB

2. I used Hex Editor to edit the GPAD0_MP file

3. I changed the MoTD and did the clan tag hack Like this:
MoTSad Awesome IXI-_MaJiiC_-IXI is teh shiznit
Clan Tag: {™™}

4. I save the Files

5.I uploaded the Files onto my Ps3 (overwrited)

And Wa-La!

That made the Clan Tag hack not work, but the MoTD Had the "X" Button at the end of the MoTD.

I think it has something to do with the amount of space left after the MoTD (3 "."s left)

Ill be try ing it with other MoTDs, to see if its the Clan tag, or the space left after the MoTD

Btw I found this

If this works I guess you can get the "X" button that way but I know how to edit the MOTD and get ALL buttons. But nice find still! Cool Man (aka Tustin)
