Post: New Ps3 MoTD "X" Button Hack

At least I can fight
You must use a Hex Editor for this, and edit the GPAD0.MP File .
TuT:
1. Save youre files to a UsB
2. Open it up on youre computer with Hex Editor
3. Where it says "Welcome to Modern Warfare 2" Type over that at the beginning. And for each letter, Highlight the letter and Right Click
4. Where it says 'Hex Value' change the value to one of these to coresspond with the button you want.
5. Once done, save the file.
6. Unplug your USB and put it in your Ps3.
7. Open up the USB and overwrite the file.
8. Start up Mw2 and look at the MoTD at the bottom

10 = L3
11 = R3

01 = X
02 = O
03 = []
04 = TRIANGLE
5. Once done, save the file.
6. Unplug your USB and put it in your Ps3.

8. Start up Mw2 and look at the MoTD at the bottom

Its not in your Clan Tag, but in the MoTD

Im pretty sure one of your ps3 buddies can take a picture for you this is a THEORY if theres no proof...

you probably can, but it no point tbh. Because as soon as you go online into a lobby, the MOTD goes back to default.. But its awesome to try it once.. looks cool.. until u look back at the MOTD and its gone back to default.. :O lol

No I don't think you can get the buttons in your clan tag. They patched it in Cod4 so why would they not patch it in MW2?
