At least I can fight
You must use a Hex Editor for this, and edit the GPAD0.MP File .
TuT:
1. Save youre files to a UsB
2. Open it up on youre computer with Hex Editor
3. Where it says "Welcome to Modern Warfare 2" Type over that at the beginning. And for each letter, Highlight the letter and Right Click
4. Where it says 'Hex Value' change the value to one of these to coresspond with the button you want.
5. Once done, save the file.
6. Unplug your USB and put it in your Ps3.
7. Open up the USB and overwrite the file.
8. Start up Mw2 and look at the MoTD at the bottom

10 = L3
11 = R3

14 = DPAD UP

01 = X
02 = O
03 = []
04 = TRIANGLE
5. Once done, save the file.

I did this a while ago, but I didn't find the buttons though..
only problem is that it's overwritten by IW's standard message the moment you join a ranked lobby (not even game, just lobby)
I tried setting the file to read-only, but it didn't matter.. Saw my custom motd once, next text that comes into screen: welcome to mw2
i was like: DAMN

lol. i know..
its good to try this once and see the awesomness of your MOTD, then it changes back to the boring default message.

lol.. they should let us change the MOTD, coz we can change the clan tag, why not let us change the MOTD from in-game and let everyone see it, who ever joins your party, that would be C
