To be clear, I have not just hex edited the PKG and added some code to the bottom like so many other patches floating around, I have extracted, modified and repacked with actual Content-ID and k_licensee from the real patches. One thing to say though, it has not, I repeat not been tested!

the self file is an EXE. so when you have a program on pc and delete the exe the program will not run thats the same with a self file.

my theory is that hunter replaced the self file on the HDD with his own maybe through decryption but more likely through an exploit which i will try only if i can get hold of this self file fro the HDD.

if someone can get me it i can try

Well, when PSJB arrives, I know it won't backup al of it, but I'll try backup to external and seeing as .self shouldn't be bigger than 4gb, I'll get it...

if the .self loads as you click multiplayer just remove disk as u press x on multiplayer?

If you click to load with no disc (It should). Freeze cause it has to load from the disc, and no disc means can't load.

I don't know for sure cause I have never tried it.
