So to figure out what sensitivity suits you best you need to look at a few certain things that this guide will cover.

Reaction Time

So to even think about changing your sensitivity you first need to concider if raising your sensitivity will even help your game out. If your a very slow player that usually gets killed even while camping then you should stick to 2 sensitivity. If you can kill people in the middle of getting shot at then you COULD raise it if you WANT to. I put emphasis on these words because once you change it, its hard to go back.

Play style

If your a rusher like me then i reccomend a higher sensitivity, 4 - 5 is ideal for these players.

If your a camper.. leave this thread. Lol jokes. You probally will be aiming down one spot or going for longshots go you need a lot more control, stick with 2.

If your a sniper you'll need a high sensitivity to quickly move your scope. Honestly 5 - 7 is more then enough but some people like going up too 10. This is horrible for when you switch back to regular guns.

If your a competitive player then a low sensitivity is also really great because getting the first shots on your enimies is really important and for that you need a lot of control. 2 - 4 Is concidered to be the best.

Additional Info

Honestly sensitivity is completely subjective and there isn't really a BEST sensitivity in the game. There is just a general which a lot of people like. There is no reason to go to 10 sensitivity to impress people, sensitivity won't increase your skill, its like a weapon that you use, a tool you can use to make yourself better.

In cod black ops im probally going to go down a couple sensitivity levels just because i think hip firing is going to be a lot more popular agian and for that you need more control then just ADS'ing because when you do aim down sights its a lot easier to control.

Well i personally played on 2 all of W@W, i've quick scoped a lot, i've played competitive games before so i've pretty much done it all exept camping.. I know what suits what the best.

True but you will need to aim properally and overall how many times do you turn on somebody compared to the times you die in a gunfight because he aim'ed in on you faster? Either way you could still turn on people espeically if you prone and turn while sprinting to get up.

I never really ask for rep but i'd appreciate it since i started using NGU a lot more.

Its all about what works best for each player.
Sensitivity, weapons set up, perk and kill streak selections and play style.
It's a only a video game and having fun is the first priority.
Getting good at it should always come second.
Experiment with all the options for fun.
When you find what works best for you get good at it and don't worry about how others play or what they say about your playing style.
As far as insane setting goes, if you don't have a great connection the screen can't keep up with your movements and it starts to feel laggy.
I admire those that can play it well but I'm more sucessful at 5.
I disagree with not being able to change but 2 things you can never go back from is look inversion and tactical button.

i play on 9 for every single gun accept for the acr. im just not good with it on 9 i go down to 8

i suggest the complete opposite of what you are saying i myself play on 13 sensativity (dont even bother saying shit u can hex edit it)

higher sensativity lets you aim faster turn faster and usualy win 99% of the time

i do agree most players cant play or feel uncofertable playing on a higher sensativity

a couple of examples your getting shot from behind (over exagaration) with 1 sensativity it would take you 3 seonds to turn around by that time your dead but with 10-12-13-14 ect it would take a fraction of a second to turn around and from my own playing style i still win while getting shot from behind 75-80% of the time since i can turn so fast

your camping in a dark corner in terminal.. you see a guy flash past you .. you have 3 options shoot him (can only be done on high sensativity since you cant turn and aim fast enough) leave him.... or run after him knife and teabag his ass


but always play to your strengths if you play well on 1 try to progress up for a few days/hours if u get ur ass handed to you stick to 1 ect


you cant say that 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10+ is the best sensativity... BUT the higher sensativity will always ALWAYS have the advantage

i use 10 sen, with every and all classes, reaction time is so much better, and i guess those mlg players feel content when playing against other people also using sen 2. but i like to be able to spin circles so quick if i did it in real life i'd get dizzy. i wanna kill the two in front of me and that guy coming up from behind me trying to knife me in the back
