I don't understand. i have your program working fine, but I can't find the folder in your video called Mw2 Patch Creator. So i made my own folder and put offzip, the patch, the program, & packzip. Everytime I can't get the mission folder to appear with the 000000003.dat thing. please someone help me. Your program won't create the mission folder anywhere, even though i saved it on my desktop. Most importantly it won't create the 000000003.dat that I need to open with notepad++. :( please please help. thnxx

For 00000003.dat to appear you need to have the "_missions.gsc" file in the same folder as the application. (Follow the tutorial)

1 last thing, when i googled the hexidecimal size of the 0000003.dat file it was 0x1112F what should i do? 1112F is five letters and in your tutorial it only shows 4. Do i just leave out the "F"?

please please please!!!! i'm mad f**k**g close! so frustrated i'll rep & nominate as soon as it works & i finish! just need 0x1112F in my combined .dat file thing. its 5 letters and numbers. your tutorial only teaches how to do it with 4 characters. Please.

It will be: "01 11 2F" (use the 2 characters before the 4 that my tutorial says).

Ummm... proz, how do i open up say bgalex's patch in notepad++ so i can copy the codes into the 0000003.dat so its bgalex's patch im editing & not putting random codes from iHC of my own patch? What im saying is, how do i edit a patch already made? do i need to get the coding from notepad++ of the already made patch to replace the 00000003.dat notepad++ coding? if so, how can i view a pre-made patch such as bgalex's in notepad++ so i can copy the coding?

Follow the tutorial to view any patch you want so you can check and add codes to your own patch.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand how to do this. I don't want to make my own patch just yet. I want to know how to get the codes of a pre-made patch say EliteMossy's patch copy the codes to the 0000003.dat file so it's then becoming EliteMossy's patch instead of whatever the patch you had there when i opened 00000003.dat. I want to copy the EliteMossy codes to the 00000003.dat and make simple edits such as putting my name on it instead of Mossy (stealing credit i know is bad, but im just testing small for now) and maybe add a few dvars. can u help?
