Do a barrel roll!
I know how to change the region of patch_mp and get out the black screen, so:
(I change the values to my region, It works for all regions)
1- Re-install the Mw2 Patch
2- Jailbreak Ps3 and start FTP Server
3- Go to PC, FileZilla and transfere the patch_mp to your pc.
4- Open Patch_mp in Hx
(This is BLES-00687)

5- Open the patch_mp you want to change region and replace values:

Now you can upload to your Ps3 :y:

Yes, it's true that you can use Hxd editor, although if you use BucN's patch convertor you can change any patch with just the click of a button. Just open your patch in the convertor, click which system you'd like to go to or region, change the file name back to patch_mp.ff and put back on your system using whatever method you choose
